I installed the add-on and was able to load a ply file without issue.
However the point cloud is not visible when doing a render using Cycles. Do you have any idea why ?

I use Blender v2.90 and bpy v0.9.30 on Windows 10.

hi, there is currently no way to make cycles render unless cycles source is modified. so to render points you have two options, use pcv rendering feature, but you can render only points on transparent background, other geometry in scene is ignored, also the lights in scene. basically it is what you see in viewport is what you get on rendered image(s) minus occluding geometry in scene, or you can convert points to mesh (Convert panel) and use that for rendering in cycles, but your mesh file can be quite large depending on how many points you have and what mesh primitive is used during conversion.
