Issue occurs on Z3Compact running on rooted stock 5.1.1, AFWall+ 2.2.3 with default configuration.

So, I made myself a nice whitelist which I wanted to start using. Enabled the firewall, but the whitelisted app are not able to get internet connection. After disabling the firewall still no internet connection - reboot helped.

After some digging it looks I have to reboot the phone after:

  • enabling the firewall
  • disabling the firewal
  • modyfing the rules

If I dont reboot the phone all of my apps are unable to maintain internet connection - what can I do to fix this issue?

Thanks.

No change.

I've also discover one weird thing, with AFWall enabled if I disable and enable GSM data my phone can't connect to GSM data. I have to reboot it to establish connection.

Oh, one more thing. When my most used websites stops to work other things like hangouts or facebook in chrome works without problems.

This should be fixed in 2.2.4 (upcoming) or try BETA.
