This project has not had any public contributions since late August? Does this mean it is now being managed internally and will be deployed as part of the Unity client? I am not sure how to interpret quiet Unity repos.

Latest release in UPM is 1.0.1-preview (2018-05-03) https://docs.unity3d.com/Packages/com.unity.2d.pixel-perfect@1.0/changelog/CHANGELOG.html

That's more than a year and a half, so I suspect this is not in active development anymore... unfortunately.

I have learned that Unity does not prioritize the tools their users need. They prioritize the features that will help them sell their platform to the people managing the budgets at large gaming studios. The sooner we understand that, the sooner we can start searching for (and start promoting) tools within the community.

A great pixel perfect solution I found is ProCamera2D

A great tilemap solution is using Tiled with the SuperTiled2Unity asset.

If anyone has questions about these tools, just reply here and I will help you out.

@lrtanner thank you for the links

I don't know what's the point of Unity to have open source repositories if they are leaving them unattended... it's pity, but let's see how this evolves.
