Just downloaded the project yesterday, on 2018.3.0b6 after finishing the open project process there is an error with the serialization of some assets that says it was serialized on a newer version of Unity.

This is happening if the downloaded repository is read-only. Just disable read-only mode for folders and files (you can do it easily in W10 by selecting the root folder of the repository, right-clicking -> properties, and disable read-only recursively)

On my end, it helped to reassign all user rights to the folder and subfolders. (You can read here how it works on Windows 10 https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/take-ownership-folder-windows-10-using-file-explorer)

Having the same issue, but only limit to HDRenderPipelineAsset.asset. Tried beta 4, 6 and 7.

FIxed. Don't forget to run ~git lfs install before using.

Running git lfs pull in the repo looks like it worked
