Is it possible to add a scrollbar in the sidebar of docs pages?
I cannot scroll the sidebar when it shows many items.

Does it not scroll for you? It scrolls for me.

Which browser do you use?

Firefox. Also works in Chromium.

There's no scrollbar, but the viewport will scroll anyway.

You can make the scrollbar visible by unsetting the hardcoded width, something like this:

.wy-side-scroll {
  width: initial;
}

I guess maybe @k-takata doesn't have a trackpad/scroll wheel.

Ah, I rarely use a wheel.

I think it is a bad UI that doesn't have a scrollbar even if a pane can be scrolled. It is not easy to understand that the pane can be scrolled, and it cannot be scrolled without a wheel.

From a quick search, it looks like this accessibility issue was introduced in readthedocs/sphinx_rtd_theme#215 which intentionally pushes the scrollbar out of reach/view.
