A collection of simple astrophysical Python tools

Overview of tools:

  • pcygni_profile.py: Provides a Line Profile calculator based on the Elementary Supernova Model of Jeffery & Branch 1990
  • radiative_shock_calculator.py: Provides tools to determine the structure of radiative shocks according to Lowrie & Edwards 2008
  • wind_structure.py: Python tools to determine the structure of line-driven hot-star winds analytically
