When the loading task is completed, there's a transition from Loading to Loaded state which includes an animation by default. This means that even if app delays activation until after the loading task is completed, the loading state will still show for a split second.

Resolution needs to be some way to disable animations on the underlying loadingview to ensure instant transition to the Loaded state upon task completion.
