The Research Equipment Database in CERIF (REDIC) project is a JISC-funded rapid innovation project running from 1st June 2012 to 30th November 2012, hosted at The University of Edinburgh Digital Library and with development support from EDINA. The main objective of the project is to scope and build a prototype system and infrastructure that would make possible an authoritative registry of information about research equipment available in CERIF format for use by researchers in the course of their work.
