Rename Post to News

Sometimes you just need a post type to be called news, but maybe you dont want/can't/are to lazy to create a separate post type for this. This little plugin renames the build in post type (Post) to News. It also changes all the labels and replaces the pin icon with a pencil icon.

Install

1. Install plugin from the WordPress plugin directory

Install manually

1. Download zip and extract
2. Rename the folder from rename-post-to-news-master to rename-post-to-news
3. Upload the plugin to your plugins directory
4. Activate the plugin

Uninstall

1. Deactivate plugin

Can I use a custom permalink structure for my news posts? Yes, just use the standard permalink settings, like:

/news/%postname%/
