Project context

Scientific workflows are scattered around different repositories across the internet and unified search interface is missing. During this project, a web service should be developed that searches on-demand
for workflows given some user-defined metadata.

Objectives of the project

• understand how RESTful API work
• develop a light-weight web service
• understand the concepts of workflows and their metadata

Proposed agenda for the project

1. Study the Galaxy public workflow API
   1.1. if needed extend the Galaxy API
2. Study the GitHub API
3. Study example workflows and create use-cases
4. Mock-up an interface to search for workflows, given the example use-cases
5. Implement a web service to search for workflows

Hi, ich habe gesehen, dass ihr ein ein paar Bachelor-projekte und Arbeiten anbieten, bei denen man mit Vue & Django arbeitet. Ich habe sehr viel Erfahrung mit Vue und auch Django habe ich bereits zusammen mit dem Rest-API plugin verwendet, weshalb ich meiner Meinung nach ganz gut für dieses und zum Beispiel auch #27 passen würde.
Neben meinen privaten Hobby-Projekten arbeiten ich auch bei Deltachat als Rust-Entwicker und bin deshalb bestens mit Opensource Entwicklung und der Entwicklung großer Codebases in teams vertraut. Sollte noch eine Stelle für die Bachelorarbeit oder das Bachelorprojekt offen sein, würde ich mich sehr über eine Antwort freuen :)
