I use SMSsync on a dual sim phone (a Samsung galaxy y duos). One number is configured to receive reports and the other is my personal line. I believe I can select which sim my outgoing messages are going through by which sim is active when I start the service. But if I receive a text message, it seems it will be sent to Ushahidi no matter what sim it comes from.

I have can't have all my personal messages go through ushahidi, so I've added a filter word (report) and instructed users in the field to use this word. However, this is not ideal as it adds another step that they have to remember. It would also be nice if I could reply to users who don't use the filter word through the Ushahidi interface, rather than through the phone, so I can better keep track of what communication has happened.

Hi I think I have a related problem from a user shared on Skype dev, today. Will quote them below but would like to note that the emphasis, wording and caps are not my own I am copying and pasting it directly!!!!
Thank you kindly.

I am confused... any assistance greatly appreciated. We are having issues with a FEW of our phones. >We use the them MIA (missing in action)... phones just stop sending Task, Auto Sync or even reply syncs to the 'Service URL'.... considerable research has gone into this issue on our side... and we were certain it was a MEMORY limit reached on a phone... SO I DID THE FOLLOWING and stumbled into the USECASE presented after steps...

  1. UnMounted the SD card.... SmsSync reports 'Log is saved on SD card at -----'
  2. Swapped OUT 4GIG Sd card for a 128Gig SD card
  3. Mounted the new card... Formatted the new card...
Launched SMS Sync and Log reports log saved on SD card as before...
I went into the log and LOW AND BEHOLD there are entries for YESTERDAY????
Since resuming with this NEW SD card the device is stuck giving a never ending series of >'Unfortunately SMS Sync has Stopped' Working
May I get some IDEAS? or even experienced assistance with this condition

Launched SMS Sync and Log reports log saved on SD card as before...

@elle-espere Thanks for posting here as well. I responded to this on the forums. Let's keep it there.
