The (currently private) demo pages are missing the html and head tags. I know they can be omitted but think we should give a correct and complete example and write proper and complete code. That includes html.

The problem is that this is an example. I will refer to this as "the semi-colon debate".
When showing examples, show proper examples. Just because you can omit tags from the source doesn't mean you should. Especially when it has a good chance of confusing new people. Be proper, be complete. Very especially when you're doing examples.
