What is the problem?

From 2022 TetraLogical a11y review:

When a file is selected for upload, focus remains on the "Upload Files" control, which means there is no feedback that a file is being uploaded. It would be beneficial to set focus to the list item for the new file as that will either announce the progress for large files or confirm that the file has been uploaded for small files that upload without a delay.

We probably don't want to move focus away from the button, as the component supports uploading multiple files. Some way of announcing the state ("Uploading xyz") for screen readers would be needed.
