About content directories: content/post/ or content/posts/

Good morning,
I hope all is well!
When i generate a new post through R, it adds the .Rmd to post while the settings and examples are pointing at posts.
Where do i change this?
I have tried the config.toml and set up a new category but it throw me an error that the file / folder does not excist.
Any suggestion how to solve this?

Hello,

You can put your posts in content/post/ and remove content/posts/ as you wish.
The theme don't care about directory names in content/.
