On Click event not working

Reproduction of the problem
I'm using the following code and want to get access to data when I click on pie chart slice:

<canvas
                       baseChart
                        [data]="pieChartData"
                        [type]="pieChartType"
                        [labels]="pieChartLabels"
                        [options]="pieChartOptions"
                        (chartClick)="chartClicked($event)"
                      >

In typescript file I use the following code:

chartClicked(e: any) {
    console.log(e);
  }

But nothing seems to happen. Could you help me, please ? What am I doing wrong ?
