Uncaught TypeError: $(...).sideNav is not a function

Seems that the sideNav isn't defined or names or typo is incorrect and the following error is showing in browser console:
Uncaught TypeError: $(...).sideNav is not a function

Try switching out your materialize.min.js. Fixed my issue with it.
