Elevation Based Navigation System

Steps to setup and run Elena

Clone the project

Clone the project with the following command git clone https://github.com/NehaPendem/EleNA-Spring-MVC.git

Backend setup

1. Install Pip. Follow https://pypi.org/project/pip/ to install and setup.
2. Open termianl and run Pip install django to install django.
3. Then, navigate backend folder in the same terminal and then install the requirements with the
   following command. pip install -r environment.yml
4. Finally, run the django project with python manage.py runserver command in backend folder. Now, the backend is expected to be up and running.

Frontend setup

1. Install Node Package Manager (NPM) from https://nodejs.org/en/download/.
2. Now, move to the frontend/elena folder and run npm install. This will install all the required dependencies.
3. Finally, run npm start to run the frontend application. Then, you can find the application running on http://localhost:3000/.
