It's very annoying to click on a 10MB download; be prompted for a DL location; and then zero feedback on what happened to the DL and whether it completed

This annoyed me today because someone sent me their 70MB project over Riot and I clicked it several times because I thought it had failed. We can easily hook into https://electronjs.org/docs/api/download-item#class-downloaditem to get the status of it.
