Static pages are not displaying any UI - only raw arrays and objects

Summary

I have a pretty weird issue that I just cannot solve. When deploying my NextJS 13 app to production, static pages are not displaying any UI after hitting the refresh button in the browser. It just shows raw data like for example:

It does only happen on pages that are either marked with the (Static) or (SSG) Symbol and also only in production. In my local environment everything works fine.

Here is an link of my clients page to try it for yourself:

--> marked with export const dynamic = "force-dynamic";
--> no issues

https://lovemadepresents.de/impressum
--> not marked with anything
--> displays raw data after page refresh

Besides that both pages are equal, do not fetch anything, have hardcoded text and a metadata object (which is not the problem since commenting it does not solve it)

Tried it with the canary version and downgraded to 13.2.3

I would appreciate any help since i am completely lost at this point

After debugging it for the whole day, i literally just solved it half an hour after writing this post

The issue was coming from the @netlify/plugin-nextjs package which was installed with an alpha version

Hey @arthureberledev, could you more robust explaining how you solved this problem? Which specific version of @netlify/plugin-nextjs did you downgrade to? What version of next 13.x.x are you using?

Hey @Audiosutras. I had this issue because my @netlify/plugin-nextjs was on an early alpha version with app dir support. I believe it was 4.29.3-appdir.0. After upgrading to a newer version at that time, it fixed the issue for me.

Since then I've upgraded the @netlify/plugin-nextjs and received the error again multiple times but rather occasionally. I have then migrated my page from netlify to vercel because I was tired of it tbh (there were also other issues with nextjs on netlify). Had not any issue since.

If you need help I would advise you to look into the netlify forums, I bet there are some posts about this.
