edge id is too long #3323

Edge id be composed of head vertex id, tail vertex id and rank info. Can make it be same with the id of vertex?

It will be more troublesome when it comes to updating or deleting a edge data.

Can you describe the difficulties in detail？
In my experience, the edge id is not unique in most cases.
