Cool codes js to improve vichan?

Hello all,
I'm curious, is it possible to get some cool scripts to make Vichan work better?
I need this functions:

1. Mobile friendly theme
2. Mobile friendly embed code (it uses flash still for some reason)
3. Mobile friendly vimeo/youtube videos
4. Custom PHP code implementation (not thought banner.php which doesn't work anyway)

Vichan core looks fine, I like the settings in general, but overall I can tell it's very outdated, not even the design, I mean more like base functionality.

Check the js folder. It contains a lot of javascripts (including responsive headers and embed codes). You can add them by adding the following to instance-config.php: ``` $config['additional_javascript'][] = 'js/scriptname.js'; ``` Replace scriptname with the name of the javascript. Some scripts may depend on other scripts/config files. I'd recommend checking the comments on the top of the javascript files. Some of them depend on jquery.

As a great addition would be to have login/password and messaging system between users, this way it's possible to make Dating site or better User-Messaging exchange, not only through the boards.

P.S. Is there any collection of js scripts? I mean from other Chans? Maybe someone can grab them?

I think you can do that if you create moderator accounts for each user (You may have to fiddle with account types and their permissions to prevent giving their accounts actual modding capabilities). It's possible to restrict posting on boards to mod accounts as well. Mods have PM abilities already.

I have checked JS folder, there is so many js files, I can't pick which one is internal use in vichan and which one is optional. Can you please help me to find the list of optionally available js files?

All files in the js folder can be used. Vichan by default doenst use any javascripts from that folder. Some may function as dependencies for other javascripts. I'd recommend just going through each file and picking and matching what features you want for your instance. Most of the functional javascripts have a header explaining what they do and if they have any dependencies. Here are the ones I use for my private server: $config['additional_javascript'][] = 'js/jquery.min.js'; $config['additional_javascript'][] = 'js/mobile-style.js'; $config['additional_javascript'][] = 'js/download-original.js'; $config['additional_javascript'][] = 'js/expand-all-images.js'; $config['additional_javascript'][] = 'js/expand-too-long.js'; $config['additional_javascript'][] = 'js/favorites.js'; $config['additional_javascript'][] = 'js/ajax.js'; $config['additional_javascript'][] = 'js/file-selector.js'; $config['additional_javascript'][] = 'js/post-hover.js'; $config['additional_javascript'][] = 'js/quick-reply.js'; $config['additional_javascript'][] = 'js/show-backlinks.js'; $config['additional_javascript'][] = 'js/show-own-posts.js'; $config['additional_javascript'][] = 'js/thread-stats.js'; This will give you the expando tools, a responsive design, a drag 'n drop selector, preview window with posts (including those linking to previous threads) adds a (You) to your own posts and gives you several thread stats in the bottom right of the page.
