github-tout-vert

This script allows you to fill your GitHub history with commits from the past.

  1. scriptV1.py -> make 1 commit for all days of last 365 days
  2. scriptV2.py -> Go to script Features

How to Use

  1. Create a Repository: Create a repository on GitHub.
  2. Upload the Python script into the repository.
  3. Execute the following command to make the script executable: sudo chmod +x scriptV{choose here}.py
  4. Run the Script: ./scriptV{choose here}.py
  5. Have Fun!

Script Features

  1. Choose the number of days in the past for which you want to create commits.
  2. Set a minimum and maximum number of commits for each day of the week (Monday to Friday).
  3. Step 2 determine a random number of commits within the specified range for each weekday.
  4. Apply similar rules for the weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
