This script allows you to fill your GitHub history with commits from the past.
- scriptV1.py -> make 1 commit for all days of last 365 days
- scriptV2.py -> Go to script Features
- Create a Repository: Create a repository on GitHub.
- Upload the Python script into the repository.
- Execute the following command to make the script executable:
sudo chmod +x scriptV{choose here}.py
- Run the Script:
./scriptV{choose here}.py
- Have Fun!
- Choose the number of days in the past for which you want to create commits.
- Set a minimum and maximum number of commits for each day of the week (Monday to Friday).
- Step 2 determine a random number of commits within the specified range for each weekday.
- Apply similar rules for the weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
