- Clone the ARC editor here:
git clone <url>
- Install node.js if you don't already have it from nodejs.org
- Run
npm install
from the root directory. This installs the packages necessary for the server. - Open the client directory (
cd client
) and runnpm install
. This installs the packages necessary for the client.
- The easiest way to run it is to open the client directory and run
npm start
from there. A browser window should open automatically with the ARC editor. - If you want to run the front end concurrently with the server (this is necessary if you need the database functionality), then from the root directory, run
npm run build
. Once that is complete (still from the root directory, runnpm start
.
