yes the buffer control logic for alternate audio was a bit too simplistic.
I did some changes to avoid that behaviour: audio buffer won't be bigger than video buffer once it has reached config.maxBufferLength
Thank you very much. Our project had been on hold until recently. I cannot reproduce this anymore in production, where we are using flowplayer. However, the behavior is still the same on https://video-dev.github.io/hls.js/demo/ as described above. I'm not sure if we have changed something else on our side.
Edit: never mind, it does behave as you've described now (it stops after 30s). I was irritated since it was still burning through 80MB in a few seconds. Anyway, I guess this can be closed than 🎉
Steps to reproduce
Expected behavior
When I pause the stream the audio segments should stop downloading as well (video does)
Actual behavior
The whole audio is downloaded completely (345 requests, 76.1MB)
