Qogir Gtk Theme

Qogir is a flat Design theme for GTK 3, GTK 2 and Gnome-Shell which supports GTK 3 and GTK 2 based desktop environments like Gnome, Unity, Budgie, Cinnamon Pantheon, XFCE, Mate, etc.

Info

GTK+ 3.20 or later

  • Set windows button on gnome for a better experience.

Gnome ≥ 3.22:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences button-layout appmenu:minimize,maximize,close

GTK2 engines requirment

  • GTK2 engine Murrine 0.98.1.1 or later.
  • GTK2 pixbuf engine or the gtk(2)-engines package.

Fedora/RedHat distros:

dnf install gtk-murrine-engine gtk2-engines

Ubuntu/Mint/Debian distros:

sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-murrine gtk2-engines-pixbuf

ArchLinux:

pacman -S gtk-engine-murrine gtk-engines

Other: Search for the engines in your distributions repository or install the engines from source.

Install

Usage: ./install.sh [OPTIONS...]

OPTIONS:
-d, --dest destination directory (Default: $HOME/.themes)
-n, --name name (Default: Qogir)
-t, --theme theme primary color variant(s) (standard/manjaro/ubuntu)
-l, --logo theme nautilius logo variant(s) (default/arch/budgie/debian/fedora/gnome/gentoo/manjaro/ubuntu)
-c, --color color variant(s) (standard/light/dark)
-i, --image Install theme with nautilus background image
-w, --win titlebutton variant(s) (standard/square)
-g, --gdm Install GDM theme, you should run this with sudo!
-r, --revert revert GDM theme, you should run this with sudo!
-h, --help Show this help

FOR EXAMPLE:

./install.sh  (Install all themes)
./install.sh -i  (Install themes with nautilus background image)
sudo ./install.sh -g -c dark -t standard  (Install standard dark gdm theme)

On Snapcraft

Get it from the Snap Store

The snap contains all flavours of the GTK and icon themes. To connect the theme to other snap packages, please run:

sudo snap connect [other snap]:gtk-3-themes qogir-themes:gtk-3-themes
sudo snap connect [other snap]:icon-themes qogir-themes:icon-themes

To connect the theme to an app run:

sudo snap connect [other snap]:gtk-3-themes qogir-themes:gtk-3-themes

To connect the theme to all apps which have available plugs to gtk-common-themes you can run:

for i in $(snap connections | grep gtk-common-themes:gtk-3-themes | awk '{print $2}'); do sudo snap connect $i orchis-themes:gtk-3-themes; done
for i in $(snap connections | grep gtk-common-themes:icon-themes | awk '{print $2}'); do sudo snap connect $i qogir-themes:icon-themes; done

Install on OpenBSD/FreeBSD

Let me show you how to install this theme on OpenBSD

sudo pkg_add bash (sudo pkg install bash #FreeBSD run this)
sudo ln -s /usr/local/bin/bash /bin/bash
git clone https://github.com/vinceliuice/Qogir-theme
cd Qogir-theme
bash install.sh
