5. Collecting Indicators

FoxyRecon let you pull out indicators from a web page, making them ready for investigations and analysis. FoxyRecon allows you also to download them in CSV file for future analysis.

How to use it

  1. Surf to the website on which you would like to harvest indicators. The chosen website must be opened on the current active tab.
  2. Open FoxyRecon popup. The input text field must be empty. Click on the icon image
  3. A list of indicator will be shown, as well as the total number of collected indicators.

You can use the input text field to filter the indicators. You can also filter the indicators by type.

Clicking on one of the indicators will show the list of the web resources that can be used to analyze it.

Note that closing the popup or clicking on one of the indicators will cause you to lose the list of the indicators collected.

If you need to save that list, you can export it by clicking on that will start a download of a csv file.
