Target Use Case

Currently the ColumnLayer only supports a static value for coverage prop. Kepler.gl has an enhanced layer which adds the ability to scale the coverage using an accessor, allowing visualizations like:

Proposal

  • ColumnLayer is modified to include a getCoverage accessor
  • Other layers which use the ColumnLayer for rendering take advantage of this new feature: H3HexagonLayer & HexagonLayer
