Image generation takes for ever

Hi guys,

i am trying for hours to generate a text2image but it takes for ever.

My system is good enough with 32GB RAM, AMD R9 5900X, and an RX6800XT, everything is on a nvme with over 5GB´s R/W speed.
The automatic folder is on my c drive so it looks like that C:\AMD KI\automatic.

I am afraid that sd.next is using my CPU for generating the image but how can i change this?

Just two optimization tips:
Never install non-system relevant programs on the system drive, especially programs that constantly create new files, such as image creation programs.
Do not use spaces in your folder names, this will save you a headache.

Also, the whole "SSDs don't last very long" stems from old technology when SSDs were new.

Sure, SSDs have a limited lifetime, but you're more likely to replace said SSD with a higher capacity one before you hit the end of its lifetime.

SSDs also use load balancing, where writing files are written to "new" areas of a drive, before reusing old areas.
