Ph4 on a Pi4 boots with warnings "mmc1: Timeout waiting for hardware cmd interrupt" every ~10 seconds.
There is a sd card plugged-in in mmc0. There is no mmc1.
Reproduction steps
1. Pi4 firmware 1.32 on plugged-in sd card in mmc0
2. Pi4 booted from a plugged-in usb stick with vanila setuped Photon 5.10.61-1.ph4
Expected behavior
boot without warnings
Additional context
The bug has been confirmed in raspberrypi/firmware#1556.
mmc0 shows up in dmesg as "SDHCI controller on BCM2847:00 [BCM2847:00] using PIO".
mmc1 shows up in dmesg as "SDHCI controller on BRCME88C:00 [BRCME88C:00] using DMA".
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
Workaround: downgrade pi4 fw to 1.31 and restart with vanila setuped Photon 5.10.61-1.ph4.
Reason: Pi4 fw 1.32 always resets time to Oct 19, see pftf/RPi4#198, and the system produces cascaded issue(s) like raspberrypi/firmware#1556.
