We got a merge fail on this. Either the CI framework is messed up or we need to figure out why this won't merge. Ideas?

EDIT: Travis CI failure is unrelated to this change.

I've opened https://github.com/vmware/pyvmomi-community-samples to start catching work of this kind. You or I can port this script over there. Thanks again for the sample!

I don't have the time to modify what I already have. If you'll accept the script as is, I can submit PULL request under this new directory. If you want sample to follow guideline, then you'll have to clean it up.

I've also shared this on Twitter, so let's hope to see more samples from community! Thanks for this BTW

Well, I think our development process for the pyvmomi-community-samples project will be ... accept (assuming the sample works) and clean up as time permits. That way we can have really strict standards for the core-library and then be free to just get some samples into people's hands with the other repository.

It will also make working with the samples more intuitive since you need to install the pyvmomi lib first before you can use the samples (and you can't just check out pyvmomi from here and get started with the samples).

I'll carve out some time next week to do the necessary samples porting, project setup, and such. It won't take long once I set aside the time to actually do it. In the mean time there's a spot for people to do pull requests as they feel like it.
