I might try to work on it when I get the chance. The static single-user build for Gentoo works on Void. I'm using that for now.

I have tried to continue where abenson left off on v5.1.20201031, however
this depends on libdv which is not in repo.
I have tried to get around it build with passing --without-dv, but unfortunatly a no go with

libdv.h:18:10: fatal error: libdv/dv.h: No such file or directory
18 | #include <libdv/dv.h>

Is it still interesting adding libdv (last modified 2006-09-25) ?
