Have the results of the proposed changes been tested?

  • I use the packages affected by the proposed changes on a regular basis and confirm this PR works for me
  • I generally don't use the affected packages but briefly tested this PR

looks ok, but since there seem to be a few fixes/changes in the libiso code, it should be perhaps first tested with void-mklive to ensure that the produced iso is identical with the one produced with the current xorriso code.
