This reverts commit 6192dde. Gimp seems to have issues with glib 2.74, let's revert for now. void-linux#39393 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/issues/8636

Testing the changes
issues with the glib update were reported in #39390 and #39393 by @bugcrazy and @lxlml
