Currently, when we have issues like #913, we have no easy way to know what's happening on TS Language Service.

We should enable logging (either directly from TS, or on our side's integration by adding logs to file access) before upgrading TS versions.

Hey there team, has anyone made a start on this? I have no knowledge of the language server but I'd love to have a crack at this!
