HTML defines a list of translatable attributes
http://www.w3.org/html/wg/drafts/html/master/dom.html#translatable-attributes

ARIA should do the same

aria-label
aria-valuetext
aria-roledescription
more?

Seems like this would be

  • aria-label
  • aria-placeholder
  • aria-roledescription
  • aria-valuetext

There is also aria-keyshortcuts which should not be translated conventionally as the values must be those from https://www.w3.org/TR/uievents-key/ , but it is likely that someone may wish to change the shortcuts based on a translation. Not sure how we would address this.
