I'm a fan of semantic URLs and was expecting https://www.w3.org/events/meetings/ to redirect me to My Calendar view https://www.w3.org/users/<w3cid>/calendar, or some other place that gives me information about meetings I should pay attention to. Now that URL takes me to the standard DOCUMENT NOT FOUND page.

There may be also other routes where similar might be useful, so I suggest checking the most common paths. Optimally, none should give 404.

I would like to be able to use https://www.w3.org/groups/cg/webextensions/calendar/next to link to the next or currently active event.

The use case for this capability is that we want to have a link on https://github.com/w3c/webextensions /tree/main/_minutes that takes users directly to the join information. At the moment the closest thing we can do is link to https://www.w3.org/groups/cg/webextensions/calendar and hope that the user realizes they have to click through to a calendar item in order to view the join information for the next event.
