When possible, it is important to enforce alternative text for non-text data resources through the DCAT profile mechanisms or systems supporting the creation and editing of such data to improve the accessibility to data. The practice to provide text alternatives for any non-text content, which can be changed into other forms people need, such as large print, braille, speech, symbols, or simpler language complies with accessibility guidelines included in [[UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20]].
