When publishing in the classical Ethiopic weight, should English words appear in their default English weight?

sensible default proposal: "English default weight"

Note: As a first language English speaker, I have a bias toward the default weight and find any other weight visually distracting. I will unconsciously interpret the heavier weight as imparting emphasis, which is not intended, and I then have the cognitive burden of reinterpreting what I've just read without emphasis.
