The original request:

"I would like to see the microphone and video playback features of the video object to be seperated. So that I can mute the microphone but still hear any sound being played within the same video object.">

I believe the microphone and audio volumes are not actually linked in HTML. In any event this should be a platform feature, and in general is implemented that way.

Unless there is something that contradicts that in HTML we will close this.

cannot find anything that links the input and output volume in HTML. Closing.
