whatwg feature suggestion

This is a tracker issue. Only discuss things here if they are i18n WG internal meta-discussions about the issue. Contribute to the actual discussion at the following link:

At this point i don't see any need to close this tracker item. The WhatWG discussion is not concluded, and i suggest we await further developments, since this is not something we raised.
