Instructions:

The number of conjuncts supported by a font may be different from another font, so set the font to a specific value.
You should only see the clusters KSHA and SHRI (x2).
From the pulldown labelled "Run a test" choose "First-letter".
Check the results.
Test passes if the content of each table cell is fully selected (ie. coloured blue and enlarged).

Results:

  • Gecko: ✅ Any_comments_here Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:94.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/94.0
  • Blink: ❌ Only the first consonant+virama are selected. Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/95.0.4638.69 Safari/537.36
  • Webkit: ❌ Only the first consonant+virama are selected. Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/15.1 Safari/605.1.15

Note: #72 tests the other clusters with the visible virama.
