Tori: We may want to be careful around visualisation - the colorblind folks hated textures. We should veer away from being too prescriptive, and allow many mechanisms for visualisation and communication

Also Android has 0 libraries for data-vis - it's all bespoke at the moment

SongBird Charts was good back in the day, but it's old now

HighCharts is the lead in data viz now

The car has no wheels!

Do we also want to include the use of textures to circumvent the use of colors? especially in the places of data visualisation.
To be honest, the launch of iOS7 by 'sir Jony Ive' and later the flat design philosophy started focussing on the colors more, ignoring the use of color + textures. The evolution of the UI design tools can also be held responsible for this!
