MusicXML 4.0 is the second release of the MusicXML format prepared by the W3C Music Notation Community Group.
This release adds more than 50 new features to the MusicXML 3.1 release, including support for concert scores, including score and parts in a single MusicXML file, score following and machine listening applications, swing playback, and improved Roman numeral support.
