This would allow mapping to existing track issues.

I've added a data-number attribute that you can use to assign a specific number (or string). Note that to avoid confusing situations, as soon as you use one data-number all the other issues stop being automatically numbered.

This will be in 3.1.13 when I push the release (shortly).
