I propose to remove the "in a departure from the SDI approach" part of
the sentence as I do not see a real difference between, for example,
WFS/GML and SPARQL/RDF in terms of the 5-star scheme.
What is easy or not depends on the knowledge and tooling one is
familiar with. Whether RDF is easiest for most of the target audience
is not so clear. Suggest to reword this to reflect that much of the
work done with Linked Data currently is RDF based.
This is quite important as changing the current situation requires a
change in how data is managed, not really a change in the technologies
used. WFS requires persistent IDs for features, too, but often
publishers do not care and change ids during data updates.
