Change unnecessarily gendered language to plural "users" where possible #3680

Looks great, just a couple of missed "she" and some plurals after a singular "they" to adjust. 💗

Women in many situations face exclusion and discrimination in settings including higher education. Removal of examples of women who identify as she in different settings is problematic as it can remove the recognition/acknowledgement that they (plural in this case) have earned and deserve. |
@mraccess77 agree with the sentiment, but the idea of they is to make the items gender neutral. Otherwise it would show bias in any direction, not something I believe technical / guidance documents should have. "They" allows for a professor to be any gender someone wishes them to be, or gender neutral etc. |
On call, request for another pass. Sometimes user can become users and sometime not. |
Discussed today that we'll have a second pass through this to see where examples could actually be changed to refer to plural "users" and make it plural |
I completed a review and changed most to use a plural subject and verb. I left a couple where it was very much talking about a single user, which was in only one set of examples. |
