Please replicate the Note of 2.5.1 for this SC: "This requirement applies to web content that interprets pointer gestures (i.e. this does not apply to gestures that are required to operate the user agent or assistive technology)." That will handle the WCAG2ICT and AT cases.

[Official WG Response]
Thank you for your comment. The working group agrees that this note from 2.5.1 is also applicable to 2.5.2. We also felt that the "gestures" should be changed to "actions". We will make this change to the note in 2.5.1 and add the updated note to 2.5.2.

"Note:
This requirement applies to web content that interprets pointer actions (i.e. this does not apply to pointer actions that are required to operate the user agent or assistive technology)."

I've created a preliminary discussion draft of WCAG2ICT for the new SCs.

The WG decided on the above response, so we changed the text in the comment containing the proposed response to read "[Official WG Response]". Please confirm is you are satisfied with the response within 3 days. If we haven't heard a response by then we will regard the resolution as satisfactory.
