Cyber Club ( 2023 )

----------------------------------- [ Introduction ] -----------------------------------

This GitHub repository has been created to support Cyber Centurions, it's purpose is to provide Students with the various skills, which might be used for the compeitition and your career. However, it will contain technical details for the class, and will have challenges and useful links, which shall be used.

Another point to make, is that this list isn't a full list of software, and it's not meant to completely steer you in one direction, all tools can be used in a variety of ways to acomplish a goal. It is up to you, and your team to decide what you would like to use.

Be aware this page doesn't contain any of the questions/ or answers for the competition.

----------------------------------- [ Important Details ] -----------------------------------

  1. All activities inside/outside these activities shall be ethical, at no point are you authorised to step outside of the Acceptable Use Policy.
  2. You shall ensure you have read and accepted the Rules of Engagement.
  3. If possible always try to use native tools, in alot of cases adding more tools can make things more complicated.
  4. Follow the Keep It Simple, Stupid (KISS) methodology.
  5. Always perform a virus scan, to ensure the file you are downloading hasn't been infected.
  6. Always attempt to find a SHA256 Hash, by performing a Checksum you will show due dilegence which is a vital skill to have.

----------------------------------- [ Standard Tools ] -----------------------------------
