URL with special char could not be imported

This URL : http://madame-rêve.com/le-saumon-a-la-vanille/ could not be imported.
No error thrown but the article created had no title and no content.

I guess this this comes from the "ê" in the URL. If we take a look at the content (in the DOM, thanks to the browser dev tools), we can see : « http://madame-r�ve.com/le-saumon-a-la-vanille/ » with the weird char so perhaps the root of the issue is the encoding ?
