Welcome to the gramene-mongodb wiki!

Gramene uses mongodb to provide rapid access to data (genomes, genes, gene trees) and structured annotations (pathways, interpro domains, ontologies and taxonomy). Each collection is based on reference data sources and stored/retrieved as JSON documents by the API (http://data.gramene.org).
